TV Fact #126 – February 15th, 2015:

The 2015 miniseries “The Casual Vacancy”, based on the novel of the same name by author J.K. Rowling who also wrote the miniseries, saw Rowling reunite with actor Michael Gambon as the character Howard Mollison. Gambon also played the character Professor Albus Dumbledore in the six latter “Harry Potter” films, based on the “Harry Potter” novels also by Rowling.

Movie Fact #765 – February 15th, 2015:

The 2001 film “The Pledge”, directed by actor Sean Penn, had a few nods to it’s lead actor Jack Nicholson, who played the lead character Jerry Black, from his real life and past movies. The name of the boat Jack Nicholson’s character fishes from is called “Sweet Lorraine”. Lorraine is actually the name of both Nicholson’s sister and his daughter that he had with actress Rebecca Brousard. Also, the photograph of Nicholson’s character as a younger man is the same one used of Nicholson in his 1980 film “The Shining”.
