Movie Fact #769 – February 19th, 2015:

The building that housed the phone answering service in 1960’s “Bells Are Ringing” was a unique old building that was the only one on the block. Executive producer Steven Spielberg used it 25 years later for the setting of 1987’s “*batteries not included” which was supposedly owned by the only holdout in the middle of a construction project.
