Movie Fact #756 – May 19th, 2015:

Friends and fellow Mexican directors Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro,  and Alejandro González Iñárritu are collectively known as “The Three Amigos of Cinema.” Cuarón won Best Director and Best Film Editing for 2013’s “Gravity”, Del Toro was nominated for Best Original Screenplay for 2006’s “Pan’s Labyrinth”, and Iñárritu won Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay for 2014’s “Birdman”. Name one of those movies that wasn’t amazing? Safe to say…the Amigos are not to be trifled with.
