Movie Fact #760 – May 23rd, 2015:

During the flashback scene in 1954’s “The Country Girl” inside the recording studio when the lead character Frank Elgin (Played by Bing Crosby) sings “The Search is Through”, the film’s composer Victor Young has a bit part playing the conductor. The scene was shot inside the famed Paramount scoring stage where Young conducted so many of his film scores.
