TV Fact #223 – June 4th, 2015:

“The Adventures of Kit Carson” (1951-1955) saw the titular character Kit Carson (Played by Bill Williams) ride a horse named Apache. That was performed by movie horse Goldie, who was owned by actors Don C. Harvey and Jean Harvey and kept at the Ralph McCutcheon ranch. Hey…it takes a good horse to make a cowboy look good as they ride across the prairie. Horses were like the mustang cars of the wild west.
