TV Fact #227 – June 8th, 2015:

The animated show “Alvin and the Chipmunks” (1983-1990) had a 102 episodes (With 168 distinct segments, usually 2 per episode, and 7 specials, 2 of which were syndicated as regular episodes). Yet, and you can research this yourself if you feel the desire to watch such a classic cartoon series to rediscover your childhood, every episode references show business one way or another. Course the show is about three chipmunks, and then the three Chipettes as well, becoming famous singers so not the most surprising movie fact I’ve ever done. No one is perfect. I guess that’s the lesson of the night.
