Movie Fact #845 – August 15th, 2015:

Director Boaz Davidson must love being true to his word. He directed the 1982 American coming-of-age film “The Last American Virgin” which in itself is a remake of his original 1978 Israeli film “Eskimo Limon” (Translated: Lemon Popsicle). Both are based on a situation which happened to the film’s director Boaz Davidson during his youth. The funny part is that he once said, and I quote, that he liked to use raw actors (unknowns) because “they are virgins to film”.
