Movie Fact #849 – August 19th, 2015:

In fact, the title was derived from Beatty’s way of answering the telephone but, as director Donner explains, Beatty refused to be in a film which featured the actress Capucine who, as a former girlfriend of the producer, Charles Feldman, was guaranteed a part in the film.
