The Canadian television series “North of 60” (1992-1997) sadly had its tragedies. Actor Mervin Good Eagle, who played the character “Joey Small Boat” committed suicide by hanging while in Saskatchewan on October 23, 1996. Also, actress Selina Hanuse, who played the character “Hannah Kenidi” who was the daughter of the lead character Michelle Kenidi (Played by Tina Keeper), was killed in a pedestrian accident in her hometown of Vancouver on January 3, 2000. Tragedies are inevitable life for we’re only human. It’s accepting that that allows us to move forward and not let the troubles and bad moments of life get us down. Would those who left want that for us?
