Movie Fact #843 – October 2nd, 2015:

The set used as Luisa and Pinky Benson’s Hollywood mansion in the 1964 American black comedy “What a Way to Go!” was originally used as the home for the actress Marilyn Monroe and actor Dean Martin characters in the unfinished film “Something’s Got To Give”. Ironically, before she died, “What a Way to Go!” was intended as a vehicle for Marilyn Monroe. The film’s producer, Arthur P. Jacobs, was Monroe’s publicist, and the film’s director, J. Lee Thompson, was on her list of approved directors.
