Movie Fact #858 – October 17th, 2015:

Ron Howard may have been most successful as a director, but as a child actor he had quite the talent of getting roles. For the 1963 Metrocolor romantic comedy film “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father”, producer John Pasternak says he interviewed hundreds of children to play Eddie, the young and caring son of lead character Tom Corbett (Played by Glenn Ford), but as soon as Ron Howard walked in Pasternak said, “I knew he was right.”.
