The show “Maybe It’s Me” (2001-2002) may have lasted only one season, but it was unique in that it featured pop-up graphics on the screen. Also, during the network’s upfront presentation that season, the show was originally titled “Maybe I’m Adopted”, but was then re-titled following negative feedback. Marketing is half the game in television and film. One might wonder…what had happened if the title had remained the same? Would it’s more direct presentation have gotten through to audiences better?
