TV Fact #378 – November 5th, 2015:

On the Australian television series “Rake” (2010-Present), the lead character Cleaver Greene *(Played by Richard Roxburgh) is loosely based on one of Sydney’s most colourful barristers, an author and co-creator of Rake, Charles Waterstreet. Like his fictional character Greene, Waterstreet has a Bachelor of Law from the University of New South Wales.

For those who don’t, the reason the show’s air date is marked as “Present” is because, on the 31st of January this year (2015), lead actor Roxburgh himself announced a fourth season of the show would be happening. Guess Waterstreet will be digging deep into his own psyche again. Hopefully it leads to another fine season of this show. Fingers crossed.
