Movie Fact #912 – December 10th, 2015:

The 1932 American Pre-Code comedy horror film “The Old Dark House”, based on the 1927 novel Benighted by author J. B. Priestley, technically is actor Boris Karloff’s first credited starring role. His name had been left off the 1931 film “Frankenstein” publicity packages and was only credited in the end credits of that film.
